St. Gregorios School, Dwarka, which is an unaided Christian Minority School established in 1981 under the aegis of the Gregorian Orthodox church Society, Janakpuri, New Delhi, is dedicated to the sacred memory of St. Gregorios, the great reformer and saint of the Indian Orthodox Church. The President of the society is His Holiness Moran Mar Baselios Mar Thoma Didimus I, the Supreme Head of the Indian Orthodox Church and the Vice-president is the Metropolitan of Delhi Diocese of the Indian Orthodox Church. The school is recognized by the government of NCT Delhi and affiliated to CBSE New Delhi.
The school was started at B-2 Janakpuri, in a building attached to the Orthodox Church at B-2 Janakpuri, in a small scale to cater to the primary education of the children of the church members and others in the nearby vicinity. Seeing the academic excellence and disciplinary standard maintained by the school, there was a huge demand from the public for admission of their children and to upgrade the school to higher levels. In response to the public demand the management procured a plot at Dwarka Sector 11, and constructed the school building and shifted classes I to X in 2002 and in 2004 Sr. secondary classes were started.
